I've been re-drawing a lot of my old pictures from my old sketch pads, and this is another one of them.
It's Sailor V / Venus / Minako Aino.
This was originally a Sailor Outfit, but I decided that it looked more like something a Goddess would wear, so I changed it to that. :)

I originally drew three of the Senshi wearing these outfits, but I just might draw the other nine scouts, including Chibi Chibi. ;)


In all honesty, I have to admit my hand really hurts after drawing for four straight hours :saddummy:
I guess it can't be helped.....One of the consequences of being an artist, I suppose. :giggle:

EDIT: 12TH December 2010
Re-inked the picture, since I felt the lines were looking a bit faded, and I've add more shading and colour onto her skin so she's not as pale anymore.
Added a more colour onto her outfit, hair, shoes and the hearts in the BG.
Made a better BG in photoshop since the original looked kinda half-arsed.

At least Minako is a lot less spoiled than the Xena version of Aphrodite ;)

I haven't watched Xena in years, so I can't remember what the characters were like at all xD

I really liked Minako, for a Senshi of Love she's a very bubbly character :meow:
